About the Robstep Robin M1

This is a self-balancing, two-wheeled vehicle that conveys a single rider up to 9 mph. Governed by an advanced gyroscopic stabilization system that automatically adjusts its motors 20,000 times per second, this sensor controlled vehicle can stand absolutely still, detecting the slightest shift in body weight of a rider up to 250 lbs.

Simply leaning forward impels the transporter forward with instantaneous, yet smooth acceleration that creates the sensation of floating above the ground, even during its minimal turning radius—stopping works the same way by leaning back just a bit.

Lean further back and you can go in reverse! An app enables remote control via a smartphone for adjusting ride sensitivity, travel modes, tracking speed, and remote control.

Its removable battery provides and 118 mile range from a 3.5 hour charge using the included AC adapter. 43″ W x 18″ H x 15 D. It weighs about 40 pounds, so light in comparison to the huge and much more expensive Segway, at around 100 pounds and $10,000! This is no toy, but it’s a heck of a lot of fun!
